The Tanzanian Community Organization (TCO) is committed
to helping its members and others in need, as stated in its bylaws. As an
organization, we are indeed determined to make sure that commitment is a
reality. Toward that end, we are proud that we have been able to help
individuals, as well as other organizations and even informal groups that
qualify for our financial assistance. We have been able to do that in spite
of the fact that our organization is very young and without financial
strength. What this means is that, our willingness to share is not
predicated on how much we have, but rather on a sense of caring that goes
beyond the borders of our community.
As we keep our commitment to help those in need,
we welcome with open hands, individuals and businesses that would like to
give us some donations to strengthen our ability to help. I think it is
